About CPMGStudio (and VidaDIY!)

Hi! I’m Davida. Most friends on know me as CondoPlantMama online. Welcome to my VidaDIY site – CPMGStudioPress.com!

CPMGStudio stands for “Condo Plant Mama Garden Studio”. I have set up and created various CPMGStudio spaces in work and home life, starting with the one bedroom one bathroom condo I shared with my husband. We currently live in a much larger house which is home to several CPMGStudio spaces that is shared with my massive collection of houseplants. These studio spaces are where I work, grow, design and craft one-of-a-kind treasures used for house decor and gifts. I also occasionally sell my CPMGStudio creations. I began my fascination with making and building beautiful things while living in a condo space. I wrote about each project in my VidaDIY blog that was hosted on my old website – CondoCrafting dot com.

 

My CondoCrafting dot com posts documented my journey of creative discovery as I engaged in various artistic craft, upcycling and space makeover DIY projects. I also posted tips and tricks I’ve come across (or have learned by trial and error) to add personal, creative touches to the home or office (and to get the most out of spaces, no matter how big or small).

I love to share project ideas and solutions, so stick around and see what I’m working on!

Projects ranged from small tiny sparks (hand-crafted cards and magnetic picture displays) to big undertakings (75 foot floating shelf, anyone? Or a wood console table made by V?).

I began collecting and caring for houseplants while in the condo in 2015. Over the course of five years, my small, modest collection grew in a green, lush, tropical jungle inside of our small condo space. In 2020, I, my husband and our large plant family moved into a large house with lots of big windows and tons of natural light.

I now do crafts and DIY projects that are focused on botanical themes and houseplant hacks. So my Condo Crafting venture has morphed into CPMGStudio!

So this site is now home to CPMGStudio Press, my online space for sharing all the deets about my Condo Plant Mama plants and projects! Welcome!
